Hire Agreement And Disclaimer For All Of Our Inflatables.
Any persons/organisation hiring our inflatable’s are responsible/liable for any damage or injuries occurring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use. Persons using the inflatable do so at their own risk. These guidelines are for the safety of all persons using the inflatable, and it is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure they are adhered to. Our company will not accept responsibility for any damage or injury to anyone using the equipment however caused.
For your information, safety and enjoyment we recommend the following:
When hiring equipment from Medway Bouncy Castles, we are responsible for the supply and general maintenance of the equipment. In return we expect you as the Hirer to follow reasonable safety instructions whilst using the equipment to ensure that there are no accidents or problems. All our electrical equipment has PAT safety certificates & all our Inflatables hold RPII Safety Inspection Certificate ~ All Tested September 2019.
Rain & Showers ~ Once delivered and set up, we will not be held liable should it rain and restrict the amount of time on the Inflatable.
No Partial Refunds will be given.
The Inflatable will dry reasonably quickly, with the help of a few towels. If the unit has a shower cover it is only a shower / sun canopy and is not a total guarantee of protection against heavy rain.

It is the Hirers responsibility to ensure that they are followed throughout the period of your hire.
The Inflatable will be erected on a smooth surface free of sharp or rough objects. There should be a minimum of 1 metre space on all sides of the inflatable. Our delivery staff will install the inflatable for you, after checking that the area is suitable.
The generator, if hired, will be placed so as not to cause an obstruction or trip hazard. Children should not be allowed in the area of the generator under any circumstances.
Inflatable’s are fixed to the ground using metal pegs or sandbags (indoors/halls etc.), and these can be a trip hazard therefore care should be taken in these areas.
Once installed inflatable should not be moved under ANY circumstances.
Do not enter inflatable until it is fully inflated, and under no circumstances should anyone be allowed on whilst it inflates/deflates or has been turned off.
All shoes, trainers, flip flops, sandals & any other footwear, jewellery and spectacles must be removed before entering inflatable.
Children should be supervised at “ALL TIMES” when on the inflatable.
Do not allow too many participants on the inflatable at once.
Children watching or waiting to enter should stay clear of the very front of the inflatable and not sit on the step.
DO NOT SIT or HANG ON THE SIDE WALLS.
Children and adults using any of our inflatables, must not climb, sit, jump or hang from any of the walls.
If a child falls out whilst attempting the above, then we will not be held responsible for any injuries.
Whilst using the inflatable, do not cartwheel, somersault of attempt hand stands, which could easily result in an accident to either a third party or the person themselves.
Medway Bouncy Castles will not be responsible for any injury, if any person who falls out of the inflatables whilst sitting on the side walls of any inflatable. If they fall out, there are metal pegs holding the inflatables in position and/or sandbags, plus a solid hard landing.
Please ensure no sharp objects are taken on to the inflatable, as any damage must and will be paid for.
Strictly no food, drink, glasses, sticky sweets, lollies, buckles, pens, handbags, badges, silly string, toys etc. are to be taken on the inflatable
A cleaning charge of £20 will be made to the hirer in the event that restricted items, mentioned above, are taken on to the inflatable, or the inflatable is returned in a condition beyond what would be expected from normal use.
Smoking & Alcohol is not be permitted in or around or anywhere near the inflatable.
The electric generator (If on Hire) & any blower and power connections should either be covered or under shelter in the event of rain.
Small children should not be on the inflatable with larger children at the same time.
In the event of damage to the inflatable due to inappropriate use or malicious acts the hirer will be responsible for the full cost of repair, and or replacement.
Whilst on hire, the inflatable, blower, extension leads, safety mats, pegs etc. are your sole responsibility. Should anything be lost or stolen whilst in your care, then the hirer will be held responsible and bear the full cost of replacing any of the missing or damaged item(s).
With our Ball Ponds, we ask that ALL of the plastic balls, are back in the ball pond upon collection. Should our staff have to go around the hall picking up, then we will charge £20 excess, payable once its done.
Do not allow users to obstruct the entrance or the exit of the unit.
Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front step; always stay within the inflatable walls.
If the unit becomes wet or slippery, ensure that it is thoroughly dried with a towel before recommencing use.
Do not use the unit in wind speeds in excess of 24mph.
Adults are not permitted on units hired for children.
Do not allow a person under the influence of drink or drugs to use or supervise the use of the equipment.
Medway Bouncy Castles holds £5 million Public Liability Insurance, which indemnifies the company and not the hirer. We shall ensure that our equipment is properly maintained and erected in a safe and proper manner. These rules are for you and your Child’s safety. It is the responsibility of the hirer to follow these rules and ensure that there is satisfactory supervision at all times, whilst the equipment is being used.
Should the hirer wish, adequate Public Liability Insurance may be available through the insurance company used for your normal home insurance, for the period of hire.
Please be vigilant and sensible, but above all be safe, think of others and have fun.
On collection, we ask that the castle is free of leaves, wrappers and any foreign objects. We delivered the castle in a clean condition, and expect to collect it as delivered, as it may be on hire the following day.
Cancellation of any booking MUST be made before will set out to you on the day. A Full Charge will be incurred, should we arrive at your property for our time, fuel and staffing costs.
If you wish to cancel, then this MUST be done 24 hours prior to your booking, otherwise Full Payment will be required.
